The sword is good. Good reach, decent balance and speed. We can try a few kinds of weapons and see what you do best at.

I'd like that a lot. I did use a bow, when we were all trapped in the temple, and I was decent with it. But I think a sword will be more useful, here.

There’s no reason you couldn’t learn both of them. A bow is just as useful as a sword. You’d be covered in long and short range.

Alright, that's some experience. Let's look into teaching you knife fighting too. It's different from fighting with a sword. But knowing both will be to your benefit.

Allura might? Lance is trained in firearms and I’m working on his hand to hand. Shiro is strictly what the Garrison taught but also blades and hand to hand. Hunk is all heavy firearms but he isn’t here. Pidge is whips and short weapons.

I’m training Lance in the sword. I could train you both at the same time. Two students do benefit from each other. I was partly trained like that and it helps. I think he would be willing.
